Arctic Quest 1832

Home, however once more into the breach!

Dom and his team have slipped back into lives less Arctic.

In many ways the hard work still goes on. The team have all submitted their annexes for the post expedition report. They have de-serviced all of the stores, returned the boats, engines and catalogued hundreds of photographs.

From me well done guy’s, I can now put the gear away until next time.

Dom is tirelessly slogging away on a mammoth document, which will be sent out to all agencies as soon as it is finished. Keep at it fella.

In early September there was a meeting at the Blue Boar pub in Poole, more a gathering of the saltiest or the Ocean rowing fraternity. Dom Mee Tim Welford Mark Stubbs Peter Bray And Mick Dawson fresh from the Pacific.

May I apologies to those who attended the gathering and I’ve missed out. This event truly sorted the forum of ocean rowing and from its discussions they made the World a better place. Honestly!

The documentary is well into production; A thanks to all at Creative Touch Films. We should receive a pilot copy within the next few weeks. This will go to air on National Geographic early next year, we will of course post the date and time, as soon they are known.

I must also include a thank you to Angela, who whilst the team were away has dedicated a lot of her time to planning and project managing the re-development of Dom’s workshop into the Quest Expedition Ltd’s new office. It is marvelous and I for one cannot wait to move in.

The next project has already started to roll like a proverbial roller coaster; I’m battling with Dom’s unbridled thirst for the new, and keeping him on the Post Expedition report path.

As soon as 1832 is to bed, I am sure things will again continue to unfold into something quite unique.
